Terran Travels offers full-day, half-day, multi-day, and custom tours year-round, with a focus on northwest Oregon and southwest Washington. Our mission is to inspire our guests by showing and teaching them the natural and cultural history of the Pacific Northwest.
Marcus is a natural explorer, born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He started Terran Travels in 2018, wanting to provide tours that intrigue and excite the explorer in everyone.
Marcus grew up in Portland, but left for 15 years for adventures in Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, California, North Dakota, and Provence. He eventually returned to Oregon and fell into the wine industry for two years, before becoming a tour guide in 2016 to spend more time outdoors. He has worn many hats in his life, but the most professional have been in the wine industry, ecology/biology, archaeology, and econometrics. Marcus' latest adventure was climbing Mt. St. Helens in 2023.
When he's not working, Marcus enjoys spending time with his toddlers, as well as hiking, climbing, and illuminating the secrets of the Universe.
